Hello all! Just wanted to stop in and let everyone know how things are going. We are 98% moved in to our new home and are still in the process of unpacking boxes but things are coming together wonderfully! At first, it did not feel like "home" yet but NOW IT ABSOLUTELY DOES AND WE LOVE IT! There is so much room for our little ones to run and play and they seem to really love it too! Every day we get one step closer to being organized and having the house arranged like we want it which is very exciting. Some day very soon I hope to post some pictures of the inside of our home so check back soon. Unfortunately, our computer is not moved yet so it's more difficult to post but hopefully that will happen soon too!

WE ARE ON THE MOVE!!!
For those of you out there who might be wondering...THIS PAST WEEKEND WE STARTED MOVING IN TO OUR NEW HOME!!!!! It's an exciting time but also very stressful as we have been working very long and hard to try and get as much done as quickly as possible...and we are TIRED! I must admit that I am definitely not enjoying packing our current house as much as I am unpacking in our new home!!!
Logan, Brooke and Chase aren't sure what is exactly going on. All they know is that they have seen a lot of activity and boxes going out and new spaces opening up but they are doing well with everything so far. They have been with us throughout most of this transition and it is very sweet to watch them back at our new home. They enjoy running around and playing and every chance they get they LOVE TO HELP! I let them help me unpack boxes and throw away all the trash. Also, I will be carrying a box and allow them to put their hands on it as if they are helping me. Afterwards I praise them and they really think they are something special...(and they are!) but it is very cute:) On Saturday, my cousin Crystal and her family helped watch my babies so we could work most of the day and for that I owe a huge "THANK YOU" to them!
Doug's Dad, Mike, came up over the weekend to help us too and I think we managed to wear him out. Mikey did accomplish some firsts while he was here. He was the first person to ever stay the night at our new home and he was also the first person to take a nice relaxing bath in our garden tub! You deserved it Mikey because you have REALLY helped us out so much throughout this process...THANK YOU! Well, back to the grind, we will update again soon!

FOR ALL YOU LADIES OUT THERE...READ WITH PRIDE!
By the time the Lord made woman,
He was into his sixth day of working overtime.
An angel appeared and said, "Why are you spending so much time on this one?"
And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her?
She has to be completely washable, but not plastic,
have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable
and able to run on diet coke and leftovers,
have a lap that can hold four children at one time,
have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart
and she will do everything
with only two hands."
The angel was astounded at the requirements.
"Only two hands!? No way!
And that's just on the standard model?
That's too much work for one day.
Wait until tomorrow to finish."
"But I won't, " the Lord protested.
"I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart.
She already heals herself when she is sick
AND can work 18 hour days."
The angel moved closer and touched the woman.
"But you have made her so soft, Lord."
"She is soft," the Lord agreed,
"but I have also made her tough.
You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."
"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.
The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think,
she will be able to reason and negotiate."
The angel then noticed something,
and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.
"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.
I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."
"That's not a leak," the Lord corrected, "that's a tear!"
"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.
The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy,
her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love,
her loneliness, her grief and her pride."
The angel was impressed.
"You are a genius, Lord.
You thought of everything!
Woman is truly amazing."
And she is!
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have vital things to say and everything to give
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE TINY FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH!!!
My friend Mandy e-mailed me this today and it really struck a chord with me so I though I'd share it with all of you. To all of my women family members and 'gal pals' who follow our blog, you are all remarkable and special ladies and don't you forget it! Take the time to pass this along to all the special women in your lives who mean so much to you...and don't realize their worth!
