PICTURES!!!

So...it was a very busy weekend around here. The plumbing is roughed in. Electrical is still in process but they have made great strides. Heating and air are finished. They started to put our roof on but thanks to mother nature we had to put a halt on that as the roofer nearly fell off TWICE. The weather was quite crumby this weekend including average temps in the 30's with high winds, rain and sleet. I'm painting quite a pretty picture, hugh??? Anyways, they installed most of the alarm system and fire alarms~not the actual alarms yet just running all the necessary wiring for them. The septic system is installed. And most importantly, I think Doug was able to catch up on a little of the sleep that he has been lacking as a result of all his heart and soul being poured into getting our home ready sooner rather than later. Also, tonight we were able to sit down for a nice home cooked meal together as a family. As a result of the many full working days back at the house, Doug hasn't been home to eat dinner with us so that was very nice. I know the kiddos have been missing out on a lot of their "daddy time" here recently with everything that is going on so it was nice to have him around for a while with us today. I know he is doing what he needs to be doing and he is DOING IT FOR US so I completely understand but it doesn't make it any easier sometimes. I'm just happy and so thankful that I have such a loving and dedicated husband who does his very best to provide for his family.
