*Note the little blue hand...that belonged to Chase who quite enjoyed stirring up the egg coloring! It looked like he was turning into a little "Schnarr Smurf" :)
*Also, for those very observant blog readers out there...did you happen to notice an abundance of blue, green and yellow eggs...well that is not your eyes playing tricks on you...we could not get our orange and red coloring to take??? Too bad but they still turned out pretty.

Saturday, we loaded everyone up and headed down south to Doug's parents house for a quick visit and to spend Easter Sunday with his side of our family. It was a nice trip. This morning we went to church where we enjoyed a lovely service. Following church, all the family came over to Doug's parents home where we enjoyed a nice home cooked family pitch-in meal! Talk about some good food...excluding the Herring of course (for those of you who do not know what this is, it's a "German" thing. It is a fish that is cut up and pickled and it stinks and looks even worse...NO THANKS! After dinner, all the little ones went outside to hunt Easter eggs. This was the first time my little ones had ever done this so get ready for some cute pics...SOON! I hope your Easter was spent remembering WHY we celebrate the holiday in the first place along with some fun family memory building time with family.

I had the same problem with our Easter eggs! I read the directions (after the fact) and found out that you shouldn't add vinegar to those colors...who knew?? BTW...who is Jason dittle?
NO CLUE WHO JASON DITTLE IS BUT I REALLY WISH HE'D QUIT WITH THE $800 MESSAGE...GETTING VERY OLD VERY FAST!
